Section 3 Business Certification Application
Section 3 Applicants Only - You must upload the following supporting documentation with your application:
1. Articles of Incorporation
2. Proof of the Business Owners' Identity
3. Evidence of Certification - Current letter of certification from one of the Louisiana Unified Certification Program certifying agencies.
4. Proof of Income
And one of the following as proof you are a Section 3 Business
1. At least 51 percent of the business is owned and controlled by low- or very low-income persons
2. At least 51 percent of the business is owned and controlled by current public housing residents or residents who currently live in Section 8-assisted housing
3. Over 75 percent of the labor hours performed for the business over the prior three-month period are performed by Section 3 workers.
